The 12-nightly Dikir Maulud continues to resound at all mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wassalam.
The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports held a Dikir Maulidur Rasul at Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque in Kampung Sengkurong. Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
Meanwhile, the delegation from the Prime Minister's Office and departments under it continued the Dikir Maulidur Rasul on 21st September night, at Zainab Mosque, Lumut, Belait District. Among those present was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos, Deputy Minister for Civil Service Governance at the Prime Minister's Office. It ran concurrently with the presentation of Wakaf or endowment.
The Ministry of Finance and Economy and its departments held a similar event at Masjid Universiti, Universiti Brunei Darussalam. The delegation was led by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy.
The Ministry of Home Affairs and its department in the Belait District continued the Dikir Maulidur Rasul at the Sungai Teraban Mosque. Present was Awang Abdul Walid bin Haji Matassan, Permanent Secretary for Municipal and District at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
